KwartLab has accepted me as next Artist in Residence!

I received some very awesome news last week!

I have been accepted as the next Artist In Residence at the KwartLab in
Kitchener-Waterloo. During the next 3 months I will be working with 30+
genius hackers, makers and tinkerers at the KwartzLab facility located in
Kitchener. As well as I will have access to some very cool equipment such
as a 3D printer, a laser cutter, power tools, hand tools, an industrial
colour laser printer, projector and laboratory!!!

For the next 3 months (February 2013 to April 2013) I will be working
diligently on the code, the hardware, the HiR web site and getting this
puppy published! Very exciting times for me, as this has been a long
journey to get to this point!

I will be in turbo-mode putting the final touches on my “Open Source”
system HiR that has been in the works for approximately 25 years now!

Anyone who wants to meet me and learn more about HiR can come to the
“open house” meetings on Tuesdays from 7:00PM to 10:00PM at 33 Kent Ave.
in Kitchener, Ontario.

The KwartzLab website is: http://www.kwartzlab.com

Note: I will be updating this site over the next few months, with much more
content to be added within the next few days to months, so come back soonly!

Respect Allz,
Michael John Hornyak.

HyperInteractiveReality is… “Back once again with tha ill behaviour!”

Yeah baby, got my “full” domain name back again!

Thanks to David Burgess for hooking me up with a server to host this site on and for registering the domain again.

HyperInteractiveReality.com has been mine for many years now, lost it 2 times now…

…I am super stoked to have ‘er back again! Feeling very blessed these days! ;]

After 25 long years of intensive research, thinking, coding, experimenting, testing,
prodding, poking, dissecting, studying, discussing, dreaming and LIVING, I am proud to
say that the “hard work” has been done! I hope to release HiR within the next few months!

I am excited and honoured to say that HiR will be released as an Open Source project!

So we can evolve as a species together.

Many thanks to the “Open Source” community at large for making the MANY pieces that HiR will consist of.

“OPEN SOURCE ROCKS THE WORLD!”

I will be posting LOTs of new information on this site over the next few months related to describing my “advanced virtual reality” system called HiR (here) for short. …and the train goes Woo WOO! ;] [;
